Visual Concept Book

For my Making Ideas Visible Class, I am suppose to make a concept book.
My theme is poems and quotes. I am combining use of graphics and typography to make a concept book on poetry and quotes.
I have selected these following poems and quotes to be places in the book.

There is no difference between being raped
and being pushed down a flight of cement,
except that the wound also bleed inside.

when I see a man climb toward me.
Never to open the door to a knock
without the razor just grazing the throat .
The fear of the dark side of hedges,
the back seat of the car, the empty house
rattling keys like a snake's warning.
The fear of a smiling man
in whose pocket is a knife.
The fear of a serious man
in whose fist is a locked hatred.
All it takes to cast a rapist is seeing your body
as jackhammer, as blowtorch, as adding-machine-gun.
All it takes is hating that body,
your own, your self, your muscle that softens to flab.

The Good and The Bad
When I think about the good,
I think about the truth.
The truth inside of people,
That shows without a proof.
Good is like a mother's touch,
That shows without fear.
The fear that holds us back
When we need to shed a tear.
So no matter what we say
Or do in any way.
Good will be there waiting,
To brighten up our day.
When I think about the bad,
I think about the lies.
The lies inside our sadness,
That's dripping from out eyes.
Bad is like midnight shadows,
That grip us in our sleep.
